Communal cleaning equipment is very much a double-edged sword. On one hand, you save a bunch of money by only have to purchase and maintain one set of cleaning items. On the other hand, things are constantly misused, misplaced or outright go missing, and then you end up having to buy the darn thing again which basically nullifies all the cost benefits anyway.
