The Stains of Time

Why clean your plate now when you can leave it as a preserved artifact of the past, ready to be reclaimed as a priceless treasure by future archaeologists? Even better, the dust and dirt collected by the ravages of time will easily mask the existing stains on said plate - I heard this can sometimes add even more value to certain items.

On a more serious note, I will be taking an indefinite hiatus from comics from this point onward. You might spot the occasional post being posted on the blog or Instagram from time to time, but the usual weekly frequency is certainly not going to return any time soon.
If time permits, I might post an extra page to go into detail about why this hiatus is happening.

Last Risotto

Most people don't enjoy cleaning, which means there isn't usually a good incentive to learn how to clean effectively. So how to get someone interested in cleaning? Just use the same method that got you interested in cleaning... unless you're just as equally uninterested.

Air drying

Okay, sure, having a bunch of washed bowls and plates scattered around the kitchen doesn't provide a whole lot of room for actual cooking, but think of all the upsides:

  1. No manual effort required (besides flipping the item to dry on the other side),
  2. Avoids waste by not using tissues to dry and...
I guess that's all the advantages I can think of.

Watch and Wash

You know you've reached middle age when you become peeved at the fact that there are unwashed plates and such in your own home. Look at you now. You used to be cool. You've changed, man*.

*I'm partly writing to my future self here, so please don't feel offended if you're, you know, not a man.
