Change of Heart


Over the years of being blacklisted from university social groups for taking their free food (and almost being barred from one of the liaison committees), I've realized that there are some things that are more worthwhile than free food. Things such as "dignity", "integrity" and "moral direction". And while I certainly came out of those situations unscathed (and with a plate full of free food!), I had won... but at what cost?

And with that rhetorical cliffhanger, the "Paid Days" series has officially concluded! The next series is "Food For Thought" where I go on all sorts of tangents about food and related subjects. This is not new territory in the world of web comics, but hopefully I can showcase my own take on things, if my creative juices will last for that long...

Getting Over It


In the face of a struggling economy amidst a global crisis, some hard choices often need to be made - Questions such as "Should I invest in the stock market while it's at an all-time low?" or "What's the next item that people will be hoarding so I can stock up before the prices skyrocket?". After all, people regret the things they didn't do more than the things they did, so why not make a risky financial investment today?

Discount Donation


Few things are more offensive than providing sub-par "financial support" to others when you are clearly capable of more meaningful provisions. Which is to say, if you're walking around with brim-filled pockets of miscellaneous coupons and no actual money on hand, what better gift do you have to give in their times of need?
